Safety Culture

Safety Culture is in BTP's DNA. It is the core value that guides every decision we make to protect our employees, service providers, and everyone within the terminal.
It is also deeply embedded in our essence. We believe that “life is our most valuable cargo,” and with this mission, we work responsibly and with commitment to ensure an ever-safer work environment for all.

The Daily Safety Dialogues (DSD) are essential pre-shift moments that promote awareness and care. Our operational leaders share insights on safety, weather conditions, and operational strategy, ensuring that everyone is aligned and prepared for a safe and efficient workday.

The Internal Week for the Prevention of Accidents in Port Work (SIPATP) takes place annually and is a unique opportunity to reinforce awareness about the importance of workplace safety. During this week, everyone comes together to reflect and learn more about safe practices, strengthening our commitment to protecting every employee.

Our internal campaigns, such as the National Day for Workplace Accident Prevention and Yellow May, are held periodically to raise awareness among our employees about the importance of workplace safety.

In this regular meeting, we strengthen relationships with shipping companies by discussing safety-focused improvements for workers on board. It is a moment of exchange and reflection on ship operations and proposals for safer and more efficient actions.

A unique and engaging experience in the new employees onboarding process, focusing on workplace safety. A gamified approach where new team members learn the golden rules and safety culture in a dynamic and interactive way, preparing them for a safe environment from day one.
