At BTP, we believe that our company's growth starts with people's development. We continuously invest in training our employees and the community, preparing professionals for the challenges of the port sector. We provide structured learning paths to expand knowledge and develop key skills for career progression.
Our Leadership Training Program equips leaders with essential tools for team management and daily challenges.

Since 2014, this program has trained over 300 professionals from Baixada Santista, offering a free course to prepare people with disabilities for port sector careers.

The classes are held in person at the terminal and conducted by trained volunteer collaborators who share theoretical and practical knowledge on port operations, safety, technology, customer service, the environment, and other essential topics. Additionally, participants experience terminal activities up close, providing an immersive experience in the sector.

In 2024, we launched BTP wih Her, a program dedicated to promoting female inclusion in the port sector. The first class included 68 women who participated in the free Women in the Port course.

Lasting two months and held inside the terminal, the program covers topics such as port automation, financial management, psychological safety, innovation, self-awareness, and leadership. The classes are conducted entirely by female volunteer collaborators, reinforcing BTP's commitment to diversity and equity in the workforce.

Our partnership with SENAI brings training directly to the terminal through the Mobile Unit, a high-tech laboratory on wheels that provides practical and innovative professional training. In 2024, we surpassed 3,200 hours of training, benefiting technicians, mechanics, and electricians.

With CENEP – the Santos Port Excellence Center, we offer immersive training for our employees using games, technical content, and realistic simulations. In 2024, we pioneered safety training for Onboard Operators, reinforcing our commitment to operational excellence and workplace safety.

We are one of the few terminals in Brazil with our own operational training center, equipped with one of the most advanced port simulators in the world. Our employees regularly participate in hands-on training, ensuring safer and more efficient operations.

We are proud to be the first Brazilian company to receive the LIFE Seal — a prestigious recognition awarded to organizations that promote gender equality and equity within the maritime and port sector. In total, 24 companies across Latin America have been honored with this inaugural certification.
The LIFE program is dedicated to Latin American women in leadership positions within companies and institutions in the maritime-port industry. The LIFE Seal is awarded by PR Ports and Multimodal, under the endorsement of Red MAMLa and the IMO Women’s Maritime Organization (International Maritime Organization).

With the goal of fostering a fair, inclusive, and transparent work environment, we have made available the Transparency and Pay Equity Report for Women and Men.
This document is a key tool for ensuring pay equity, promoting diversity, and establishing clear policies for compensation and inclusion — reflecting our ongoing commitment to building a fairer future of work for everyone.
