BTP strengthens customer experience at Intermodal South America

Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) - one of the largest container terminals in South America - further strengthened its presence in the logistics and port sector by taking part in the 29th edition of Intermodal South America. The company once again had a record number of visitors to its stand over the three days of the event, which is well-known the largest logistics meeting in the Americas.

BTP's CEO, Claudio Oliveira, explains that the company's booth was specially designed to welcome authorities, customers, suppliers and potential business partners with BTP's recognised excellence. “Intermodal is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, expand business potential and welcome a large number of partners from Brazil and abroad in a short period of time”, states.

This year, as well as updating the market on the progress of the R$2 billion investment package to increase capacity, BTP also presented innovations that reinforce its plans for the future, in the direction of lifting productivity and efficiency.

Among the innovations presented to customers at BTP's booth was the launch of a new institutional website that brings together all the services offered by the container terminal on the same platform in a centralised and organised way. Fernando Monti, CFO of BTP, highlighted the single portal embeded in the website “the new portal unifies services - from financial simulation to inquiries and simplified payments - confirming our commitment to excellence and customer centricity”.

Award-winning stand - To mark its successful participation, BTP was recognised by the organisers of the 29th Intermodal South America in the Better Stands Programme. The recognition is divided into gold, silver and bronze categories and awarded to companies that stand out for carrying out sustainable projects at the event. This is the second consecutive year that BTP's stand has been recognised and the first time in the silver category. As well as reusing wood, metal, cardboard and plastic, the container terminal, through the company responsible for building the stand, also organises the sustainable disposal of the waste generated and the planting of native trees to compensate for the materials that cannot be reused.

The 29th Intermodal South America gathered more than 550 exhibitors between 22 and 24 April in the Anhembi District, located in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. It is estimated that more than 55,000 people attended the event.
