Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)
Joel Contente was appointed as CAO and joined BTP’s Executive Team in February 2025.
Joel Contente has over 30 years of executive experience in leading national and multinational companies in the port, chemical, and technology sectors, having held leadership positions in Brazil and abroad. At BTP the executive is responsible for the Administrative Officer, overseeing with excellence the Human Resources, Health & Well-being, Legal & Compliance and Sustainability & Quality areas at one of the largest container terminals in South America. Joel holds a degree in Business Administration, specialized studies from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), an MBA in Strategy from the University of São Paulo (FIA/USP), and a board member certification from IBGC.
