Cláudio Oliveira was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BTP on February 1, 2025, having served as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) the ten years prior.
Cláudio dos Santos Oliveira is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), one of the largest container terminals in Latin America. The executive has a solid career of more than 40 years in the maritime-port sector and, before becoming CEO, served for more than a decade as the company's Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). His professional career includes leadership positions in Brazil, Costa Rica and the United States and experience in important shipping companies such as Sealand and Hapag-Lloyd. Claudio Oliveira has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from UNICEB, an MBA in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and certification as a Board Member from the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).
