BTP invests in projects in which the Company believes, and in which it is proud to participate. Encouraging initiatives that are in line with its Mission, Vision and Values is one of the forms chosen by the BTP to contribute to society.

PORTO DOS ANJOS CORAL

To stimulate hearing, deal with emotions, improve school performance, and encourage teamwork were the benefits provided by Porto dos Anjos Coral.

Organized in Santos in 2017, and sponsored by Brasil Terminal Portuário through the culture incentive law (Rouanet Law), the purpose of the project was to contribute for the educational and social life of children from 7 to 12 years old who want to learn how to sing or develop a musical skill.  Classes were given twice a week next to Santos’s Basilica, and the Coral provided uniforms, food and free supplies to 35 children.

GOTAS NO JUDÔ

Project sponsored by Brasil Terminal Portuário in 2017 through PROMIFAE (Municipal Program of Tax Incentives to Sports), develops Judo activities for 120 children and adolescents between 6 and 14 years old in the city of Santos.

The project started in 2013, financed by FMDCA – Municipal Fund for Children’s Rights. It encourages and stimulates cooperation, discipline and team spirit, which are essential elements for human development.

In addition to the participation of students in regional competitions, the athletes were registered with the São Paulo Judo Federation in 2016. As a result, several federation members achieved important classifications in the São Paulo State Championship.
