Open positions for one of the best internship programs in Brazil

Jovens Talentos BTP, which was recognized for the third time as one of the best internship programs in the country by CIEE, is accepting applications until July 2.

Santos, June 25, 2025 - Applications are now open for Jovens Talentos BTP, the internship program run by Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), one of the largest container terminals in South America. All students interested should apply by July 2 at: https://ciee-vagas.taqe.com.br/ciee/btp-programa-de-estagio-santos

To take part all students must, among other requirements, be a university student due to graduate between December 2026 and December 2027 and be available to work in Santos. In this edition, opportunities are offered to students who are duly enrolled and seeking careers in 12 professional areas.

Candidates will take part in a selection process comprising CV analysis, online tests, interviews and a panel. The new interns are scheduled to start work in August 2025.

Best internships - In existence for over a decade, the Jovens Talentos BTP program has already been chosen three times as one of the best internship programs in the country by the Centro de Integração Empresa-Escola (CIEE). The most recent title was won in 2024 at the 15th edition of the CIEE Award for Best Internship Programs.

For BTP's Human Resources manager, Claudio Luna Scalise, the company's internship program stands out for its consistent and genuine work to train professionals for the port sector. “The BTP Young Talents Program has been offering a robust structure for the development of new professionals by identifying and enhancing the diversity of these talents' skills,” he says.

Currently, a group of 32 interns work at the container terminal. Winnie Almeida, an administration student who passed the Jovens Talentos program in 2024, is one of these professionals and has been working as an intern in BTP's Facilities department for three months. "It's been an incredible experience. Every day is a learning opportunity, both technical and personal. In Facilities, I've been able to understand the importance of structure and operation for the smooth running of the terminal. Working in such a dynamic environment challenges me and motivates me to grow more and more," she says.

Almost 200 students have already taken part in BTP Young Talents, considered one of the best internship programs in the country.

Benefits - In addition to experience in the port sector, the company offers those approved for the Jovens Talentos BTP program a grant assistance, a competitive benefits package and educational incentives such as a free English course and access to the Corporate University, an online platform with more than 400 courses.

The interns also receive mentoring from BTP professionals so that, during their internship, they can develop and present an innovation and process improvement project to the company's leadership.

Almost 200 students have already taken part in the Jovens Talentos BTP program, and around 40% of them have already been hired to work at the container terminal, located on the right bank of the Port of Santos.
