BTP releases Sustainability Report with overview of ESG initiatives

The document outlines the container terminal’s 2024 progress across environmental, social, and governance pillars.

Santos, May 30, 2025 – Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), one of the largest container terminals in South America and a benchmark in port operations at the Port of Santos, has released its 2024 Sustainability Report. Available to the public on the company’s website, the document reaffirms BTP’s commitment to transparency and provides a comprehensive overview of its progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas throughout the year.

The report covers topics such as Corporate Governance, Socio-environmental Responsibility, and Inclusion & Diversity. Elisabete Ramos Orifice, BTP’s Sustainability and Quality Manager, explains that the report not only highlights key milestones from the past year, but also reflects the company’s ongoing engagement with issues such as climate change, energy transition, biodiversity protection, professional training, social inclusion, compliance, safety, and operational excellence.

ESG is at the core of BTP’s identity, and the Sustainability Report draws a clear connection between the beginning of our journey and our future commitments, offering an overview of our main initiatives and achievements in 2024,” says Orifice.
