BTP announces André Magalhães as CCO
Santos, 10 March 2026 – Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) has a new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Effective this month, André Magalhães will join the company to lead the Commercial teams.
With a vast experience in strategic leadership and business development, the executive will be responsible for strengthening the customer relations, creating commercial opportunities, and contributing to company’s consistent development in the upcoming years.
André accumulates more than 25 years of experience in the maritime and port sectors, having held positions in national and multinational companies in both shipping and terminals, including the Pecém Complex, in Ceará, where he was most recently working.
The executive has expertise on projects of technology and renewable energy as a path to boost commercial exchanges and deliver greater value to the customers.
He is a graduate of the Merchant Marine Academy, Centro de Instrução Almirante Graça Aranha (CIAGA), and holds specializations from COPPEAD and Centenary University, as well as executive certifications from FGV, the Port of Rotterdam, and Fundação Dom Cabral.
According to BTP’s CEO, Cláudio Oliveira, the new director will have the mission of strengthening BTP’s commercial strategies. “The appointment of André to the position of CCO reinforces BTP’s commitment to high-quality services and advanced solutions capable of exceeding our customers’ expectations and fostering an increasingly competitive and innovative business environment”, he highlights.
The new executive expressed his satisfaction in joining BTP team during the implementation of an ambitious investment package aimed to increase terminal’s capacity. “BTP is a benchmark in the port sector and widely recognized for its excellence in services provided to their customers. I am very enthusiastic about taking on this new challenge at such an important moment in company’s history”, he said.
