SANTOS – The Executive Board of Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) has appointed Claudio Oliveira as company’s new CEO. After a rigorous recruitment process, supported by an international headhunting firm, Oliveira was elected to lead the company on its new trajectory of growth, initiated with the concession renewal of the terminal.
Represented by the chairman Leo Huisman from APM Terminals and Patricio Junior from TiL, The Executive Board of the company is pleased to announce this unanimously election.

Not to mention his outstanding leadership and ability on enhancing people connections, which is essential to drive business growth paved by soundness and trust. The executive has been serving as Chief Commercial Officer in a variety of sales, marketing and other commercial roles across the company for well a decade.
He will transition to the new position effective as of February 1 st. BTP’s Board would also like to thank the management of the directors, that have been leading the business in a highly consistent administration for the past months.

Before joining BTP as CCO, Claudio worked in several key shipping companies, including Sealand and Hapag-Lloyd, soon will complete 41 years in port-industry. He also worked abroad, in Costa Rica and Miami. Oliveira holds a bachelor in Administration, a master in business (MBA) from FGV and a board of directors course from IBGC.
